Deposit Account Fraud Arraignment?

I was charged with two counts of Deposit Account Fraud. This happened like a year ago, and it's just now coming back. I was being irresponsible and not balancing my checkbook, not realizing the severity of it all. I had a warrant for my arrest. I turned myself in, had my mugshot and fingerprints and everything done, and paid the checks off, and bailed myself out. But now I have court. Everyone tells me that it will be fine, the charges will probably be dropped, etc... But is there a possibility they will do anything else? I really don't want to go to jail. My father just had heart surgery yesterday and I had to miss it because of this. I'm really scared. Any advice would help. Thanks.
