Do you have to give fingerprints to re-new your dutch passport?

Since 2010 the passports of all Schengen member countries will have the fingerprints and a biometric photograph added on the microchip of the e-passport. By 2020 it is planned to have all external border controls changed to unmanned control points. If you arrive at Schiphol from the U.K. you will not see a Koninklijke Marechaussee anymore but just have your fingerprints which you provide electronically on arrival to be compared with the ones in your passport chip..
