Can hispanics act and listen to country?

well i mean im hispanic but i grew up in louisiana on the country side so i listen to country and everything but with the level of racism in the country community it gets me thinking whats yalls perspective? can any race listen and be country because alotta mixed races grow up in the country now or will level of racism in the country community never change basically if i were to go to a country event will i get dirty looks?
