What can I use to clean my Macbook screen?

There are fingerprints all over the screen of my Macbook and it's starting to really piss me off. I tried just wiping it down with a dry paper towel but it just smeared all the smudges, so I was just wondering if it would be safe to wipe the screen with all purpose cleaner or something. What do you use to clean the screen of your laptop?
