Can i sue for being molested?

Okayy soo long story short, i was molested by my step brothers & all his friends back when i was 7-9......i got molested probably 30+ times......my step brother was 16-17 at the time & i swear im not being dramatic when i say that it ruined my life:// im 18 now, and my parents just found out about all of this a few weeks ago & im just wondering if i can sue & get money or something:/ last time i heard, he was living with his mom & they were poor, so i dunno if i can even sue!! whats your guy's opinion?
