Need help with my facebook...best getss 10.:] ?

I have a touchscreen phone( a palm pre ) and I use it to get on facebook alotta times...like right now, I'm usingg my phone. And if you have ever used your phone to get on fb, you know there's a little thing up in the corner where you can search people...lol but when I click on it and try to type someones name in,nothing ever shows up..:( it used to cause I would always search people all the time..and if I click friends to view my friends, it also show a search bar to type someones name in a click their profile. I don't understand why it won't work anymore because I used to do it all the time...what could the problem be? Thank you! Best gets 10! :]
