How can some people be blind to the faults of others?

i think you might like him in a weird way you love how much you hate him or you might be in denial about it. Maybe the custimers like him because he is friendly and nice to them or very approachable. and people are unpredictable what might be disgusting one is beauty to another. rmember beauty is in the ye of the beholder....
