What type of criminal background check do I need to teach English in South Korea?

Hello, I am applying for an E2 Visa in which the application requires a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check. Do I need to do the full fingerprint analysis criminal process with the RCMP which takes 12 weeks? Or would a normal check without fingerprints suffice? Thanks
